I'm sure something brought her there. And why you're there, I'm still not sure.
Why were you pulled in that direction?
Obviously. But you and I both know Europeans in small towns like that. They hang on until the very end.
Even if it has been centuries.
They also hold onto grudges.
I swear, I went to Paris last month to revisit the homestead and someone gave me the evil eye and muttered something about my father.
[There could be other reasons they gave him the evil eye - like being a vampire but still. He will stand by it until the very end.]
